Ms. Barankova holds a Master of Music degree from the College of Fine Arts of Boston University, specializing in Music Education; Bachelor of Music degree in Choral Conducting and Music Education from State Musical College named after the Gnessins (Moscow, Russia), Diploma with honors; Master of Science degree from Mendeleev Chemical Technological University of Russia (Moscow, Russia); Certificate in Teaching Russian as a Foreign Language from Lomonosov Moscow State University (Moscow, Russia). Ms. Barankova is a member of MTNA (Music Teachers National Association), ACDA (American Choral Directors Association), OAKE (Organization of American Kodály Educators) and ACTR (American Council of Teachers of Russian). Ms. Barankova also teaches General Music Classes and A Cappella groups at the Frederick Murphy, Ralph Talbot, and Academy Avenue Primary Schools in Weymouth, Massachusetts. She has 20+ years of teaching experience with variety of students from children to adults.

Anastasia Semash

Anastasia studied painting, drawing, book design, fine arts history and illustration at the Northwest Institute of Printing Arts in St. Petersburg, Russia. Before that, she took painting lessons at a private studio in Switzerland, and received a doctoral degree in Philosophy from the St. Petersburg State University. She’s got a professional certificate in publishing.
She has over 10 years’ experience with digital design technologies, having worked as designer for Coca-Cola Co. and several advertising agencies, developing promotional materials for print media. She also worked with multiple publishing houses, as an illustrator and designer for over 15 books.
Anastasia has 8 years of college level teaching experience (computer graphics, typography, print materials design), and 5 years experience in teaching at middle and high school.
Her current interests include decorative and figurative sculpture (e.g., dolls) and fiber arts (needle-felted figures). Her works were exhibited in Russia, Switzerland, and the US.

Dilya Shorfova

Dilya Shorfova is an enthusiastic and dedicated Russian speaking US licensed teacher with excellent communication skills, an outgoing personality, who genuinely enjoys teaching and educating about Russian language and culture. Dilya holds BA in Secondary Education with a teaching major in Foreign Language Instruction and MA in Linguistics and worked with wide range of age groups both in US and Russia.
Dilya offers dynamic, intensive classes in relaxed and encouraging environment; builds lessons according to students’ purpose of learning the language providing great amount of practice and instructional support.
