Things you need...
Piano
Students should have a piano (acoustic or digital with an adjustable bench) for daily practice. This is important for motivation, enjoyment, musical and technical progress and success in a learning process. Check the piano buyer website if you need to purchase an instrument or your local piano store to rent one.
Music Books
I'll give you a list of books that you need to buy. Also, you'll need a folder (for extra music and assignments), music journal, and a music bag to keep all of your music in one place.
Flash Cards and Practice Toys
Flash cards help to memorize music alphabet and music vocabulary. They are available in music stores or online. Practicing toys are optional but I think they are very helpful. The most difficult part in practicing is playing the same piece of music several times until it is played without mistakes. At times the process might even become boring. The practicing toys make the repetitive playing much more fun.
